Walden Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

Walden Family Services, a certified foster family agency celebrating 30 years of promising futures for Southern California’s most vulnerable children, today announced the selection of Karny Stefan as their new Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Stefan will be focused on the strategic direction of the organization, furthering the development of the board of directors, foundation development and operations.

She has over 15 years of non-profit experience, most recently as Associate Vice President of Development for San Diego Hospice, Capital Campaign/Development Director for the Monarch School Project and Executive Director of MBE We Deliver Dreams Foundation.  She also holds a Master Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in non-profit management from the University of Missouri, is a Certified Fundraising Executive and a graduate of LEAD San Diego, Class of 2005.
