SAN DIEGO, CA—Walden Family Services is proud to welcome Breanna M. Gooch to its Board of Directors. Gooch joins three other new board members— Amber López Gamble, Jackie Helm and Janine Taylor—who will serve a three-year term alongside a cross section of Southern California community leaders who oversee and support Walden’s operations, strategy, and vision.
“These new members will truly help Walden in its mission to further the interests of children and youth in foster care and to expand our capacity to deliver nationally-accredited programs and services to these kids and their families,” said Walden CEO Teresa Stivers. “They’ve already hit the ground running and we’re thrilled to be working with them.”
Breanna M. Gooch is an accomplished communications specialist with a passion for philanthropy and giving back to diverse communities throughout California. After graduating from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Communication, Journalism, and related programs, Gooch went on to obtain her Master’s in Public Policy & Administration from California Lutheran University.
Gooch has grown in her talents while working for several years in California’s philanthropic community. Her professional expertise ranges from website design, media relations and event management to researching and analyzing various client industries, as well as writing, editing and producing specialized valuation reports for Fortune 500 companies. Currently, she is the Communications Manager at Arthur Consulting Group, Inc. She and her husband Ted, a senior Netflix, Inc. staff member, have strong track records of giving and engagement with non-profits.
