Walden Family Services appreciates in-kind donations of gift cards, furniture and household items, and clothing and toys. All donated items must be new and meet current safety standards. Please call (800) 354-2184 to speak with the office administrator about the current needs in your region, or to schedule a pick-up or drop-off.

Provide foster children, youth and families with emergency clothing and everyday essentials

$20 – $50 gift cards to purchase emergency clothing and household supplies (Wal-Mart, Target, Kohls, etc.)
Gas cards – any amount
New clothing – 0 – 5 years
Pajamas – all ages
Soft blankets – all ages

Equip foster family homes to meet licensing regulations

Fire extinguishers
First Aid kits/Disaster Preparedness kits
Gift cards to Home Depot or Lowes for home repairs and safety enhancements
Tool boxes and locks to secure medications

Create a welcoming home environment for youth transitioning to independent living

Walden continuously seeks volunteers to purchase items and set-up apartments for youth in the THP+FC Program. For more information about how you can help set up apartments, please call (800) 354-2184 to speak with a THP+FC Social Worker in your area.

New Furniture: bed frames and mattresses; couches; dressers and drawers; futons; tables and chairs, etc.

Household Items: bath mat; bath towels; comforter; fans; hangers; house phones; iron and ironing board; lamps; sheet sets; vacuums, etc.

Kitchen Items: baking pans; blender; bowls, coffee pot; cutting board; dish towels; dish wrack; glasses; kitchen utensils (graters, ladles, measuring cups, pot holders, spatulas, strainer, etc.); knife set; microwave; plates; pots and pans; refrigerator; toaster; Tupperware; water filter, etc.

Hygiene Items: body wash/soap; deodorant; floss; hand soap; lotion; mouthwash; shampoo and conditioner; toothbrush; toothpaste, etc.

Cleaning Supplies: all-purpose cleaner; broom; dish detergent; fabric softener; laundry basket and detergent; mop; paper towels; sponges; toilet cleaner and scrubber; trash can and bags for kitchen and bathroom, etc.
